Marcus Oringer is a New York City–based cinematographer and photographer studying Film and Television Production at NYU. Working across film and digital media, his practice spans narrative, documentary, music video, television, and commercial work.

Raised in San Francisco, Marcus developed an eye for natural light by photographing coastal landscapes, fog-covered streets, and the city’s hidden corners. Marcus’s practice is rooted in black-and-white photographic principles, shaped by countless hours in the darkroom and a deep attention to exposure, contrast, and composition, resulting in images that feel tactile and timeless.

He is currently in production on multiple feature films and television series around the globe.
